Blue
Prairie Nights Blue Moon
|
I loved this big black roan boy. Blue was the ultimate blender. He shared his tremendous depth, length, bone, generous character, as well as genetics for milk and attachments. Perhaps, incognito in his black roan work duds, Blue blessed us with a full spectrum of color--silver roans, blue roans, black roans, moonspots and black and tans. Blue kids have always favorites from show ring to farmstead.

Prairie Nights Mucho Ombre

We were truly blessed to have this buck's influence in our herd. Ombre was our master of camouflage, bestower of level toplines and rumps, as well as great milk and attachments. He was a wonderful cross for snugging udders, tightening up conformation and adding some color. We looked forward to welcoming his correct and colorful kids each year.

Bear was poised to bring the best of all worlds to the table. His spotted dam was a Superior Genetics 90 VEEE doe that was a finished champion and 14* milker. His sire added proven show and milk genetics to the mix as well with Alize Take It To The Limit and Lakeshore Allied Force. We loved his length, character and bone which he generously shared with his first kid crop in 2019. We had no idea our time with this amazing boy would be so brief (due to an injury) but are blessed that one of his two daughters gets to carry on his potential in our program.
